There was double tragedy at a funeral in Chemagore village, Mt Darwin on Wednesday when a friend of the deceased bashed his brother over a road runner chicken then committed suicide, making it a double tragedy
Sources privy to the development allege Norman Dhota drank toxic substance after he bashed his brother Zondiwa Dhota over a chicken dispute at a family friend’s funeral.
“Two brothers fought over a chicken at the funeral of Magiyani who was a family friend.
“The brothers had a dispute in sharing a road runner chicken, Norman assaulted his elder brother Zondiwa and over powered him.
“He was filled with remorse afterwards and he took toxic resulting in two funerals on the same day,” revealed the source.
Meanwhile, Dhota is set to be buried tomorrow after village youths refused to dig his grave yesterday.
